I have thick, heavy hair and bobby pins just don't do the trick. I have been pleasantly surprised by Hollywood ManeStays. They provide an invisible hold that stays put.
I left them in overnight and they hadn't shifted much even while I slept.
No fear of snarls or stress on your hair. They remove without pulling.
I struggled a bit with choosing which color for my hair. Light brown, blonde, auburn? In the end I chose dark brown because my under layers are a dark auburn. Even where I have streaks of blonde, the dark brown ManeStays aren't visible.
This is a great product. I have been telling everybody about them even my hairdresser was intrigued so I sent her the link.

I bought th dark brown variety pack to replace bobby pins and couldn't be happier. They don't pull my hair and they keep my bangs in place!

I purchased two packs of the dark brown variety packs. These stay in my hair and do not damage it like my hairbands do. While i use Bobby pins at times, I struggle to get them to hold the stands that actually fall. I really like strips. I purchased two packs due to the fact I have long hair. Also I am a person who has to have matching sets. What I do to one side, I do to the other. I received great service from Hollywood Mane. I would purchase the again.
They don’t work
The manestays don’t work very well because the Velcro texture is only on one side. The backside doesn’t stick to your hair very well and they fall out.

Doesn’t stay in my very fine hair.
These do not stick to both sides of the hair so one side just lays on your hair and the other side barely grips it. May as well stick with Bobby pin
I find that the portion that is put on first doesn’t stay or “adhere” as well as I wanted and viewed in advertisements or the website. Kind of regretting I bought these, in duplicate.
They don't stick in my hair. I've tried several times, in several different ways. I even took them to my hair dresser and we had the same experience. I asked for a refund and was told no.

They’re ok. Not quite what I thought by the video. It made it look like it would grip hair on both sides so I could keep certain areas of my hair to stay put. Works well with keeping my hair up that fell out of my ponytail though.

Love my Hair ManeStays. They are easy to use and have just the right amount of control to keep hair out of my eyes! So glad that I tried them!
I really wanted this to work. I have wavy curly hair and I think it's just to heavy. That velcro would stay but my hair would fall and the velcro would just attach to the fallen hair

These don’t work in my hair. My hair is thin and fine and these don’t stay as promised. I think these probably work better on those with thicker hair.
